Our famous curry puffs, savoury pastries with aromatically-spiced fillings, have been dubbed ‘the best pastry in London‘ (Giles Coren). Or, ‘sexy, spicy hand-grenades of goodness that are simply unputdownable‘ (GQ). Legend has it that the first curry puffs were made in Singapore during its colonial era, when local cooks married Western pastry with Southeast Asian spices to create the perfect hot snack.
We also serve other classic Singaporean rice and noodle dishes. Like the fragrant coconut rice dish known as Nasi Lemak. Or Singapore Laksa, prawn noodles in a coconut curry broth). As we say in Singapore, ‘shiok’ (Singlish for ‘ridiculously delicious’)
